The Designer

Phillip Tuba brings a wealth of over 40 years of horticultural knowledge and experience to the firm. He has taught both theoretical and applied classes in landscape design and construction for the past 31 years as a full time professor in the Horticulture Department of Algonquin College. This degree of professionalism assures clients that he is capable of producing landscapes designs that fit their lifestyle and needs, employing the latest technologies and materials.  His intimate knowledge of locally hardy plant material helps create designs where clients will feel immersed in gardens, whether it's a walk to their front door or a seat nestled into an intimate patio in the back yard.

Contracting Design Services

Design Costs

Phillip is available for a one hour on site landscape consult with clients for a $150. If clients wish to engage his design services he will quote the cost of a complete design which will include the initial site visit fee. Front yard or back yard designs run approximately from $600-$900 for the average city lot. Full properties front and back yard run approximately $1200-$1800.

What You Get

Clients will receive a scaled plan showing all of the landscape features such as walks decks, arbors etc. as well as all the plant material shown at its mature size. A perspective sketch will show the feature area so clients can more easily relate to the finished product. Also included will be an estimate of what the landscape will cost if installed by Endless Summer Landscaping. A discount of 20% of the design cost will be given to clients engaging the services of Endless Summer Landscaping for their complete landscape installation. Phillip will participate in and oversee all of the designs he produces that client have Endless Summer install.
